Facebook Invitation Etiquette

So you're on Facebook and you run a small business and a client/customer sends you an invite for Facebook, do you accept it?

What is the appropriate etiquette when asked to add someone to your Facebook account?

It's an interesting social behavior question. I think there is definitely a distinction between who to accept and who not to. I think the answer is simple: allow those you don't mind knowing what you post on Facebook. You might say "duh, it's not that simple" but I say why is it more complicated than that? We have multiple personalities and it gets worse as we use technology. When you consider TiVo, wireless handsets, computers then software like instant messengers, blogs, twitter, LinkedIn, email and of course Facebook you need to accept they might be used at home or work, personal or public then past, present or future.

I only use Facebook for friends and family: If I work with you in any capacity then you're not likely to be on my Facebook. What do you think?
